Short Version: Concierge Sealant Refresh
Here’s the breakdown:
$195 for 365 days of sealant refreshing.
$115 for 180 days of sealant refreshing.
You can choose any sealant you wish, provided I can acquire it quickly.
Just let me know 1 day in advance, and I’ll have the bike ready in about 10min.
The price is for one bike, add any number of bikes for $50 each (annually, $25 for 6 months).
Text 316-262-1505 and I will get you set up right away.
The real benefit here is saving time and avoiding hassle. Ride up to my door, get your sealant refreshed, and ride away without needing your wallet. Changing your sealant is exciting the first time, but quickly loses any fun factor, and becomes an annoying chore. If you have two or three tubeless bikes, the whole process could easily take 45 minutes.
What are the worst things about sealant?
I can help.
You can also pair this with unlimited washes, and get your bike washed and topped off all at once.
Details
Sealant refreshing and bike washing are guaranteed same day services, I just ask you text me the day before to let me know you are coming.
Need multiple bikes refreshed? I can do that all at one time too. Just add $50 per extra bike per year you want to refresh, and add $25 for 6 months. So if you wanted to have the ability to walk in and get two bikes refreshed at any time for a full year, it would be $245 ($195 + $50.)
There is no up charge for the sealant in changing tires. You would just pay $15/tire you want changed, and I cover the cost of the sealant. If you need tires changed once per month or more, I still won’t charge you, but I ask that you purchase the tires from the shop.
I have one small caveat on “race tires” like the Specialized S-Works Pathfinder or any other S-Works or similar thin walled tire. If you choose to use Orange Seal, Stan’s or related sealant, it will be $50 more per year and $25 per 6 months. I do not know precisely how, but they will soak up sealant like starving lions. I recommend using a thick or chunky sealant like Silca to help alleviate this issue.
Need help choosing a sealant?
Why would a shop want to do this?
As I wrote in my last article, I’m trying to change the way bike repair is done. High performance bikes need routine high quality maintenance. If you are someone who wants to ride more and work on their bike less, then these programs are for you.
If you like ideas like these then stay tuned, good things come in 3’s…
